Boysenberry Season


I absolutely love boysenberries!  This weekend I got to harvest some of the first fruits of the season.  The Barlows have a few bushes at their house and they let Liz and I take some home.  When Liz put some in her oatmeal a cozy little spider crawled out between two berries.  Yum, protein (she didn't eat it).  I decided to make carmalized apples and boysenberry crepes for Sunday breakfast.  The recipe I usually use for Crepes was updated to include 2, instead of 1, eggs per batch, which produced a light and golden crepe!
