This weekend was the biannual General Conference for my church, which means I watch the broadcast sent from Salt Lake City on my laptop at home. Between Sunday sessions I cooked up cookies and peanut butter stir fry. The ingredients were half my own and the rest of the left overs that Liz left in the cupboards or freezer. The Conference Cookies were 5 Grain Flax Seed Oatmeal crunchers and the Peanut Butter soy sauce mixture was combined with chicken, rice and frozen veggies to create my dinner meals for the rest of the week. Neither recipe was a smash hit and the dishes took just as long to clean as it took for me to cook. I'll probably start eating out more often since my thrown together food choices are not appetizing at the moment.
