left over valentines

One of my students gave me a huge box of Hershey's kisses for Valentines Day.  It was sweet of her, but I really didn't want them.  Instead I decided to beat and batter them with a rolling pin until they were small bits of chocolate.  I then added them to a blondies mix.  I should have added some orange peel to the mix to offset the bland taste of the blondie.  Here is what I now know: First, I desecrated chocolate with a rolling pin mostly because it was given to me in a heart shaped tin by a student, not a debonaire boyfriend.   Second, when I ran out of vanilla and was 1/8th of a teaspoon shy of just enough I should have grated some orange peel (this is indicative of my dating life as well, when one man doesn't work out there is most likely a substitute available if I just look for it).  Third, the blondie batter tastes way better than the cooked blondie.  I'll need comments to help me analyze the connection to dating there.
